1、英文

Old man Yu Gong’s house had two big mountains in front of caused him great one day he said to his family:I have decided to move those mountains. His wife said:This is ’ve lived with them a long ’s just put up with it.

But the old man convinced his children to help him.

The next day they started digging using hoes and baskets,and they hauled the dirt to the sea,far far in and day out they kept digging.

A wise old man,Zhi Sou,upon seeing this said to Yu Gong:You are old; you are trying to do the impossible. Yu Gong replied:Yes,I am old and I will soon be dead,but I have children,and when they die,their children will carry on,and the mountain will get smaller and smaller.”

And so Yu Gong and his family carried on,day after day,year after year,through summer and winter,until one day,God heard about it and was so moved by his determination that he sent his two sons to take the two mountains away.

The moral of the story is that with determination anything can be achieved.

愚公老人的房子前面有兩座大山。這給他帶來了極大的不便。所以有一天他對他的家人説:“我決定移走那些山。”他的妻子説:“這不可能。我們和他們住在一起很久了。就讓我們忍着吧。”

但是老人説服了他的孩子們來幫助他。

第二天，他們開始用鋤頭和籃子挖土，把土拖到很遠的海邊。他們日復一日地挖着。

智者智叟見此，對愚公説:“你老了;你在嘗試做不可能的事。”愚公回答説:“是的，我老了，我很快就要死了，但我有孩子，當他們死了，他們的孩子會繼續，山會變得越來越小。”

愚公和他的家人就這樣日復一日，年復一年，熬過了夏天和冬天，直到有一天，上帝聽説了這件事，被他的決心所感動，他派他的兩個兒子去把兩座山帶走。

這個故事的寓意是，只要有決心，任何事情都能實現。
