當然，最好玩的時候還是包粽子的時候。包粽子時，男人負責把肉切成不大不小的塊兒；女人負責洗紅豆、糯米之類的;小孩負責把大盆洗乾淨，再把大人加工好的東西裝在大盆裏;而老人們則負責指揮。一切準備好之後，就開始包粽子了。大人們幹得格外賣力，而小孩們呢?卻在一旁玩着，總是在大人們不注意時，偷一兩顆蜜棗往嘴裏塞，表面上似乎一點兒事都沒做，可心裏卻暗暗自喜。因為蜜棗太好吃了!

最後一步就是煮粽子，燒火的外公總是把火候把握的很好，味道很香、很濃，如果在第一時間內吃粽子，你看到的肉粽子總是嫩地流油，看到的蜜棗粽子總是金黃柔嫩;看到的八寶粽子總是很可口，我們可愛吃了。
