find的用法 find使用方法示例詳解

1、表示“找到”，其後可接雙賓語；若雙賓語交換位置用介詞 for引出間接賓語。如：

Can you find me a hotel?=Can you find a hotel for me? 你能給我找一家旅館嗎?

We found him a good job.=We found a good job for him. 我們為他找了份好工作。

比較下面一句（found 後為複合賓語）：

We found him a good teacher. （=We found that he was a good teacher.） 我們發現他是位好老師。

2、表示“發現”時，其後可接各種形式的複合結構：

（1） 賓語+名詞作賓語補足語。如：

You’ll find it a difficult book. 你會發現它是一本難懂的書。

有時可在賓語補足語前加上to be。如：

You’ll find it to be a difficult book. 你會發現它是一本難懂的書。

（2） 賓語+形容詞作賓語補足語。如：

He found the room empty. 他發現房間是空的。

I found the book easy. 我覺得這書讀起來比較容易。

有時可在賓語補足語前加上to be。如：

We find the story （to be） very interesting. 我們發現這個故事很有趣。

（3） 賓語+副詞作賓語補足語。如：

Did you find her in? 你發現她在家嗎?

I went to her house but I found her out. 我到她家發現她不在家。

用作賓語補足語的副詞通常只能是in, out, up, down, upstairs, downstairs等表示處所的副詞小品詞，而不能是其他普通副詞。

（4） 賓語+不定式作賓語補足語。如：

He found the patient to be a small boy. 他發現病人是一個小男孩。

用作賓語補足語的不定式通常為to be（且通常可以省略），但當find用於被動語態時，可以用其他動詞。如：

Her blood was found to contain poison. 她的血液裏被發現有毒。

He was found to have helped himself to public money. 他被發現挪用了公款。

（5） 賓語+現在分詞作賓語補足語。如：

I found him lying on the floor. 我發現他躺在地板上。

I found him standing at the door. 我發現他正站在門口。

（6） 賓語+過去分詞作賓語補足語。如：

He found the door locked. 他發現門鎖上了。

He found the city much changed. 他發現這個城市發生了巨大的變化。

（7） 賓語+介詞短語作賓語補足語。如：

We found her in tears. 我們發現她在哭泣。

We found the map quite out of date. 我們發現這地圖已完全過時。

另外還要注意“find+形式賓語it+賓語補足語”結構。如：

I find it easy to get on with her. 我發現她很容易相處。

He found it easy to earn extra money. 他發現賺點外快很容易。

I found it interesting being back at school again. 我發現再次回到學校很有意思。

3、 其後有時可接 that 從句。如：

I found that the book was very interesting. 我發現這本書很有趣。

They found that he was no longer working there. 他們發現他已經不在那兒工作了。

He found （that） no one could answer his question. 他發現沒有人能回答他的問題。

When he arrived, he found that she had gone. 當他到達時，他發現她已經走了。

後接 that 從句時，只要句型適合且不影響原意，有時可轉換成複合結構，如上面的前面兩句可轉換為：

I found the book very interesting.

They found him no longer working there.

但是，上面的最後兩句不適合這種轉換，因為從句中用了情態動詞或完成時態。
